A professional and non-judgemental environment
My name is Sharon Krajnc. I am a fully qualified, experienced and BACP registered counsellor. In my private practice Counselling Macclesfield I offer face-to-face counselling to both individuals and couples.
I offer a safe, professional, non-judgemental and confidential environment in which you can explore any thoughts, feelings and behaviours that may be causing concern, confusion, anxiety or distress.
Genuine empathic understanding
Everyone is unique and we all encounter things or times in our lives that we may struggle to deal with or understand. In working together, counselling can help you to find acceptance and understanding and to bring about the positive changes you may be looking for.
You will be supported and heard with empathy, and where appropriate, safely challenged in your thought processes. In my practice, counselling is not about giving advice or telling you how to live your life. It is about working with you in a way that helps to give you a clearer understanding of your situation, offering a genuine empathic understanding.
Types of issues
Counselling can help you to grow and change, to resolve issues from the present and the past and become the person you wish to be. I have many years of experience working with a wide range of issues including:
✓ Abuse
✓ Anxiety
✓ Bereavement and loss
✓ Confidence and assertiveness
✓ Eating disorders
✓ Life limiting illness
✓ Low self esteem
✓ Phobias
✓ Repetitive and destructive patterns
✓ Relationship difficulties
✓ Unresolved childhood issues
Relationship counselling Macclesfield
Relationship counselling is not limited to just husbands, wives and partners but can also be helpful to resolve conflict and difficult relationships between family members, friends and work colleagues.
Quite often we have stopped communicating effectively, we do not feel heard and a gap starts to form between us. When the communication is ineffective, or if we have substantial differences between us, then relationship counselling can help.
I can help with a wide range of relationship issues, including:
✓ Communication problems
✓ Family problems
✓ Infidelity and cheating
✓ Insecurities and jealousy
✓ Separation and divorce
A personal journey
Engaging in counselling is a personal journey. There is no ‘one size fits all’ as every person is unique, and every person’s issues or goal may be different. All that is required is a willingness to take a closer look at the things that are troubling you and to be as open and honest as you can be, both with me and yourself.
I offer a reduced fee for the first session which will give you the opportunity to see whether you feel you would like to work with me. The pace and frequency of further sessions is up to you, after all, the counselling session is your space.
If you have any questions about either myself or counselling, please feel free to send me a message.
