Sharon Krajnc, MBACP
I was born and raised in Cheshire and after many years working successfully in the commercial world, I realised that my strengths lay within the relationships I built with people, both colleagues and clients.
I wanted to re-direct these skills into something more in tune with my personality and my desire to help people overcome life’s difficulties and reach their full potential. This, together with my own life experiences, challenges and losses brought me to the world of counselling.
My work experience and training
I was trained as an Integrative Counsellor and have a strong grounding in the person-centred approach yet often draw upon other approaches such as CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) and TA (Transactional Analysis) and Mindfulness.
As well as working in private practice, I have also spent 8 years working as a part-time Volunteer Counsellor in the Macmillan Cancer Resource Centre at Macclesfield Hospital, working with both cancer patients and their families.
I am a fully qualified Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice.

How I work
I bring my authentic self to each client and each session and am passionate about the work I do. I aim to support you and offer you the conditions needed to help you to begin to develop your own inner resources.
I consider myself so fortunate to have worked with many clients who have overcome obstacles in life and ‘moved’ to places that they never thought possible.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or if you would like to make an appointment.
