Relationship counselling can help
Are you looking for couples counselling in the Macclesfield region?
My name is Sharon Krajnc, I am an experienced and fully qualified relationship counsellor.
Most of us will experience some kind of conflict with loved ones at some time in our life and if left unattended, this conflict can spiral down into serious relationship difficulties. This can be with a spouse or partner, a colleague, friend or family member.
Quite often we have stopped communicating effectively, we do not feel heard and a gap starts to form between us. In the case of marriages, often intimacy can start to disappear and this can lead to more problems within our relationship, such as being unfaithful or feeling that our partner just doesn’t understand us anymore.
We might feel like we are attempting to communicate our unhappiness but if that communication is ineffective, or if we have substantial differences between us, then relationship counselling can help.
Courage and honesty
In relationship counselling, I work from a position that I have 3 clients; each of you and the relationship itself as a unique entity. I will work with you both to explore thoughts, feelings and behaviours and to look at the things that are not being said. Together we can learn what has ‘fallen’ into the gap between you.
Relationship counselling takes courage and honesty in order to achieve a better outcome for you both. It is often helpful to have an image of how you would like things to ‘look’ in the future so that we have a goal to work towards.
Learning how to really listen to each other can be so valuable and this can be done using creative techniques and exploring those feelings that we often feel aren’t ‘ok’ to say out loud.
